Wednesday, November 5th, Update on John’s Journey

Here’s the latest update:

We met with Dr. Moore, the Chief Neuro Surgeon, this afternoon in Topeka.  Dr. Moore ran some additional tests and procedures yesterday, so we met with him to discuss the results.

Unfortunately, the results were not encouraging, John’s condition remains unchanged.  As we’ve mentioned in prior postings, the longer John’s condition remains unchanged, the situation becomes much dire.

It goes without saying and words can’t express our absolute thanks and appreciation for your thoughts, prayers, and support during this very difficult time.

We’ll keep you posted as we receive more information.  Please keep John and our family in your prayers.

Hello again Mary Anne and family….I anxiously logged in again this evening hoping for some word that ‘something’ with Johnny would be positive. It doesn’t sound like it though. I am so sorry. We continue to talk of you all each day and remember you in prayer off and on all day. Continuing to lift you all up to the Lord. May His mercy and grace abound. love, Sharon Nigus

We will pray for John’s progress, ultimate recovery, and that his family will feel the strength and warmth of being wrapped in the arms of friends and a community of those who know and care.
